Hrafnband, Old Norse for Raven's Bond. A talisman of the in-between: the antler that once crowned a living creature, now bound in silver wire and adorned with stones that carry the weight of earth and shadow.

This piece was made for those who walk between worlds. For the witch who collects bones and stones. For the one who knows that the most powerful things are also the most ancient. Hrafnband is not jewellery, it is a ritual object you wear.

This one-of-a-kind necklace is handcrafted from a raw antler tine, wire-wrapped with oxidised silver wire and suspended horizontally across a fine stainless steel cable chain. Three charms hang from the antler bar:

  • A wire-wrapped dark stone (hematite/black onyx), grounding, protective, absorbing negative energy
  • A deep red bead, evoking blood, fire, and vitality
  • A tiger eye drop, the stone of clarity, courage, and the warrior's gaze

On the craft: Each wrap of wire is placed by hand. The antler is shaped, balanced, and tested before the first coil is set. The charms are individually wire-wrapped and hung at deliberate lengths to create movement and asymmetry. This is not a fast piece to make, it demands patience, precision, and intention. You are wearing hours of work.

Materials:

  • Natural shed antler tine (ethically sourced)
  • Oxidised silver wire wrapping
  • Hematite or black onyx charm (wire-wrapped)
  • Tiger eye bead drop
  • Dark red glass or garnet bead
  • Stainless steel chain, tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic

Details:

  • Chain length: approx. 60–65 cm (adjustable)
  • Antler bar: approx. 5–6 cm wide
  • Pendant drop: approx. 4–5 cm from bar to longest charm
  • Weight: lightweight, comfortable for all-day wear

One of a kind. No two antler pieces are identical, natural variations in colour, grain, and shape are part of what makes each piece unique.

Care instructions: Keep away from water and perfume. Store in a dry place. Wipe with a soft cloth to maintain the natural lustre of the antler and the oxidised wire.

Wear it as armour. Wear it as memory. Wear it as a bond to something older than yourself.
